Large 60-inch wide photo copying capabilities allow us to take your photo or file and create mural size seam-able representations. We also have the best on-site sign painters in the business for your classic or antique signage.

Mechanical Props/Effects

Machinists are available for any customized motion mechanics conceivable. We can build turntables six inches to 20 feet in diameter, rams and lifts. Our vendors carry all special effect rentals for water/rain effects, snow effects, wind effects and pyrotechnics.

Scenic Painting

At 16 Penny, we have multi-generational experience in all forms of scenic arts, from realistic set painting and aging to sky backdrops and mural work. Our large pool of scenic painters and fine artists are talented at aging, metal finishes, multi-layer processes (crackles, varnish aging, etc.), trowel and sponge effects, auto quality fine finishes and much more.

We can provide any size mural or backdrop from simple to comic to serious fine art representation. We are efficient, safe, quick and clean in our applications whether on a soundstage or in a home, corporate office, retail business or restaurant.

Sculpting/Carving

We can carve anything from various types of foam to plaster products. Our abilities also include cave and rock work, human and animal figures, statuary and staff work, oversize props, etc.

Specialty Props

We can develop custom hand props, period pieces, electronic panel boards, futuristic props, digital screens, practical lighting, thematic props, oversize props and breakaway glass props.

Textures

Our vendors carry wide selections of pre-textured fiberglass and plastic sheet goods, various brick and rock patterns, siding, roofing, floor surfaces, tin ceiling patterns and much more. Our fabricators are experienced and skilled at the realistic presentations of these materials in a themed environment. Our plasterers provide custom plaster finishes representing all types of cement, concrete, adobe and many others.

Upholstery

Custom upholstery with any fabric and density are available for projects as well as wallpapers, fabric applications and drapery swag work.
